The nursery-kindergarten "Gluosnis" in Vilnius was established on March 18, 2015, by Vilnius City Municipal Council decision No. 1-2287. The institution opened its doors to students on September 8, 2016. The nursery-kindergarten "Gluosnis" was founded in the Viršuliškės microdistrict of Vilnius city (Justiniškių g. 65), in the place where the Sholom Aleichem ORT gymnasium moved to Žvėrynas. The kindergarten operates 9 different age groups for children from 1.5 to 7 years old. Separate rooms were equipped: night/event hall, sports hall, and canteen. It caters for children aged 3-7 years; nursery group children eat in groups. In the cozy, modern environment of the institution, children are educated by competent educators who are constantly looking for new forms and methods of education to pursue the priorities of education. Specialists work in the nursery-kindergarten, separate offices of the speech therapist, psychologist, and social pedagogue are equipped. Each child is fully mature when his body is strong and firm, so the child's physical development is chosen as the priority direction of education.
