Nature detectives in the urban jungle - activities, the main goal of which is to expand the boundaries of knowledge, provide knowledge about the worlds of animals and plants, sustainable living, consumption culture, and the possibilities of using secondary raw materials. Children and youth's aptitude for natural sciences, creativity, and responsibility are fostered in the activities. What do we do in these activities? Using slides and video material, we will visit the continents of the world, meet the world's animals and plants We will plant plants and monitor their growth We will explore the surrounding environment, city plants, birds, and small fauna We will play various themed games that will enrich our days: "How to tame a slug", bingo of cats, dogs, birds, and insects, etc. We will organize active activities "In the rat's furs" and "Amphibian Relays" We will talk about sustainability and the reuse of materials We will create various artistic and practical works from secondary materials We will make feeders for birds, houses for hedgehogs, insect hotels, and Frog houses We will learn the basics of survival: we will find suitable tinder, make a fire without matches, tie knots. It is important to us that: Children and young people in the group develop curiosity, tolerance, friendliness, and respect for both their classmates and the surrounding living environment.
